Production Manager

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager with a "hands-on" approach.

Someone who possesses an in-depth knowledge of precision engineering/manufacturing processes.

Duties:

Direct responsibility for running the machine shop and assembly department.

Execute workshop plans and liaise with production scheduling and team leaders.

Increase output, improve efficiencies and introduce new technology.

Ensure production KPI targets are achieved and quality standards met.

Must have experience of machine shop environment and be conversant with modern CNC machining and high precision assembly techniques.

Knowledge of process improvement, lean, kanban and 5S.

Requirements:

Good communication skills, with a confident manner is essential.

Excellent man management skills.

Health and safety aware.

Remuneration package is negotiable and based on experience.
